A streaming listening party was held on starting March 22, 2006, which caused advance copies to spread throughout P2P software programs. It is the first album to feature guitarist John 5 and drummer Tommy Clufetos, and the last to feature bassist Blasko. In response to questions about what the album's title means, Rob Zombie said. Educated Horses is the third solo album from Rob Zombie. Released 5 years after The Sinister Urge, it came out after Zombie had spent time cultivating his career as a film director. Previous to the release of this album Zombie had expressed that he may not have been returning to music but it was playing with guitarist John 5, who had now joined the band, that Zombie was inclined to put together another album. Educated Horses would be the last to feature bassist Blasko. Released on March 28, 2006, Educated Horses hit the Billboard Top Rock Albums chart at number one.
