The Bronx group Raw Breed debuted in 1993 with Lune Tunz. In '93, Raw Breed was basically a hybrid of Onyx and Fu-Schnickens. On this LP, the MCs sound just like Onyx. It could be a coincidence, but sometimes they sound so much like Sticky and Fredro that they border on copyright infringement, not just in delivery but even in voice. The songs sound nearly identical. Each hook uses the tried-and-true '93 method of eight guys yelling in unison, and the beats and verses are pretty interchangeable. Raw Breed doesn't have a style of their own, and without any significant subject matter it can be somewhat monotonous. That's not to say it isn't entertaining, though.
