Short intro
Lightbulb Sun - Porcupine Tree. Лента с персональными рекомендациями и музыкальными новинками, радио, подборки на любой вкус, удобное управление своей коллекцией. 15 tracks 87:23. This album, along with their prior album Stupid Dream, is considered to have a more commercial, poppier sound, as opposed to the abstract instrumental sound of their prior albums, or the heavier metal sound in their subsequent albums of the 2000s. The album is divided into two parts between Rest Will Flow and Hatesong. One of the best tracks on the album is the brilliantly titled Four Chords That Made a Million, a barbed cut on some unnamed emperor in new clothes beset by a moron with a cheque book. The lead riff is a majestic hit of flange and feedback, while the hints of sitar and Indian percussion give the song even more attractive heft. But there's a definite bent towards calmer art pop throughout Lightbulb Sun - those who preferred the sheer surge of Stupid Dream will find this album tamer in comparison. The artist name and album title Porcupine Tree Lightbulb Sun should not appear on front cover, only on slipcase if authentic. Rispondi Avvertimi 1 Helpful. MA573RM1ND. Lightbulb Sun was the first Porcupine Tree's album I heard. My first impression when I listened to it was the variety of the work, with some pop influences, psicodelia, folk, electronic rythms, pure rock. Really brilliant mixture of genres and feelings, with a great instrumental work. Porcupine Tree - 'Lightbulb Sun' 5 stars. How could one expect the lightest, most melancholic Porcupine Tree work to be in between the fusion of pop and psychedelic work that is 'Stupid Dream' and the fusion of hard rock and psychedelic apparent on 'In Absentia'. This is the first Porcupine Tree album where I can say every song is a masterpiece in its own special way. Lightbulb Sun. Porcupine Tree. Released May 22, 2000. Lightbulb Sun Tracklist.
