Similar to Tower of Power and Earth, Wind, and Fire, Mercury Records released their self titled LP produced by Michael Cooper of Con Funk Shun in 1978, and the group subsequently toured and opened concerts for Gino Vanelli, Average White Band, The Barkays, Herbie Hancock, and many others.
