Prime of My Life is the eighth album by American soul singer-songwriter Phyllis Hyman. It was released by Philadelphia International Records on June 11, 1991 and featured Hyman's only pop hit Don't Wanna Change the World, which peaked at 1 on the US Billboard R&B chart and 68 on the Billboard Hot 100. Both the album and single were RIAA certified gold on September 24, 1992. The album charted at 10 on the Billboard R&B chart and 117 on the Billboard 200.
