Periphery III: Select Difficulty is the fifth album by the progressive metal band Periphery, released July 22, 2016. The opening track, The Price Is Wrong, was nominated for Best Metal Performance in the 59th Annual Grammy Awards. It is the last album the band released on Sumerian Records. It is also the last album to feature bassist Adam Nolly Getgood as an official member of Periphery before he left the band in 2017, though he still returned on Periphery IV: Hail Stan to produce, engineer, and. A new album, usually entitled Periphery X: Non Sequitur comes out, gripes are made about Spencer Sotelo's singing which, I'll admit, I've come to enjoy as his voice has finally found a palatable niche in Periphery's music. The reviewer then chooses to address whether Periphery are too melodic or not melodic enough I'm in the latter camp, and everyone agrees with a broad statement that this is good, but a band with this much talent could do so much better. The problem with Periphery isn't even in the music anymore - the music on Periphery III: Select Difficult. metal band led by Misha Mansoor was produced by the band's Adam Nolly Getgood. Though some may find the metal might tiresome over Periphery III's hour-plus runtime, the drive to keep exploring outside of their stylistic box continues to be crucial to their success. Is this the same variant as the Sumerian 12 days of Christmas Orange Transparent that they just released?

Got in contact with Sumerian. Apparently 80 additional copies intended for tour sale were pressed but never distributed to Periphery (I don't know the story). Sumerian is now selling those. These are considered to be SECOND PRESSING, however there is no differences in barcodes or anything...

I've been wondering the same thing. Not going to know for sure until someone gets one and checks the matrix/runout to see if they match. More than likely it is a different pressing.

Guessing everyone else is still waiting also? Funny my ETID album showed up 3 days after it was released. Doubt it's the same plant but this pretty bad. Albums been out for 2 months and still no vinyl...

They will be an estimated 3 weeks late. I received a message from Sumerian that the record pressing plant went into a 3 week emergency maintenance.
