I was an avid Paul Anka fan in the 70's, but some where in the transition from LPs to cassettes to CDs and finally MP3, I fell out of touch with his music. Then 3 months ago, I heard Love's a Lonely Song on the radio and that brought back a whole lot of memories flooding back. Anyway, I heard the Feelings album tonight for the first time my first experience with this guy's music and although the songwriting is pretty strong, the overall sound is stuck in the 70's. That's good, I guess, sometimes, and I'd say Paul Anka's music reminds me of some of Neil Diamond's work.
