'This CD was released in 2006 as a souvenir to Patrik's UK and Norway tour. The songs are a mixture of unreleased material and re-recordings of older songs. 24 Recordings sent from New Zealand to the UK by Gmail.

Track 1 was recorded at Gateway Studio (Clapham) in 1979.
Tracks 2, 9, 22 and 23 were recorded at Leyline Studio (Fulham) in 1997.
Tracks 3, 5, 8, 13, 14, 15, 17, 18 and 24 were recorded at Plains FM Studio (Christchurch, New Zealand) in 2006.

Patrik Fitzgerald born Patrick Joseph Fitzgerald, 19 March 1956, East London is an English singer-songwriter and an originator of folk punk. The son of working-class Irish immigrant parents, he began recording and performing during the punk rock movement in 1977, after working briefly as an actor. The album Floating Population 2006 was issued to coincide with a European tour with Attila the Stockbroker. It contains a few new songs and alternative versionsrecordings of songs spanning his entire career. Dark Side of the Room 2006 is a split CD with the band POG. Patrik Fitzgerald Floating Population.
