Some songs are fast paced and loaded with blast beats, others are slow and grinding. Peter Tagtgren's vocals are amazing, you can actually understand what's being growled, and the lyrics hold the usual themes of w. This is the new album by Bloodbath, released just a couple of months prior to today. I own their previous two efforts and it's amazing how close to the roots of their sound this band keeps. That's especially amazing considering that this is a supergroup of members from completely different, and highly successful, other bands. Bloodbath are known for finding that perfect balance between groove, speed and tecnhicality - The Fathomless Mastery is all of these and much more. I personally was not a massive fan of Death Metal before purchasing this album but Bloodbath have changed me and I have seen the light. I cannot recommend this enough. Buy it.
