This co-work by the two famous artists is the most convincing among the rest of their extended release catalogues, and the best in each project's discography. My fav Cyclic Law dark ambient release due to its focused genre nature which is preserved in every detail. The pitch-black atmosphere in "Scotopic Vision" or "Skiatron" tracks is ever evolving in their elemental tidal structures, and "Black Emitting Oven" track is a classical dark ambience, topped with a distorted guitar, rarely surpassed. Both simple and complex in depressing textures the recording never degrades into pointless experimental tricks and it is its obvious merit. Unlike most of their other releases which mostly lack a point, this one by Nordvargr and Drakh totally fixes attention and sharpens your senses on the dark. A time-tested dark ambient masterpiece of the 2000's.
