Short intro
No Fixed Address is the eighth studio album by Canadian rock band Nickelback released on November 14, 2014, via Republic Records. The album is preceded by the lead single Edge of a Revolution, which was released on August 18, 2014. This is the band's first and most likely only release on Republic Records, after leaving long-time record label Roadrunner Records in 2013, and then leaving Republic for BMG before the release of their ninth album, Feed the Machine, in 2017. No Fixed Address is the eighth studio album from Canadian rock band Nickelback. It was released on November 14, 2014 in Australia via Republic free to Nickelback No Fixed Address Million Miles an Hour, Edge Of A Revolution and more. 11 tracks 43:14. Both What Are You Waiting For and Satellite are overtly optimistic and inescapable hookfests. Theres even a nod to classic rock Sister Sin , while Got Me Runnin Round features horns and rapper Flo Rida. No Fixed Address was written and recorded in far-flung locales like London, Berlin and Budapest, and it's easy to draw a line between Nickelback's globetrotting and the material's genre hops. Yet, the album's best song, Get 'Em Up, finds the band sticking closer to its wheelhouse, with Kroeger detailing a robbery-gone-stupid It was Sunday and the goddamned bank was closed over a low-end groove that recalls present-day ZZ Top. It's a loose-limbed and lighthearted moment from an act that tends toward heavy and humorless. It's also a m. Nickelback - No Fixed Address 2014. To favorites 54 Download album. Listen album. No Fixed Address, Nickelback's eighth album and by some measure their most adventurous record, doesn't find Kroeger abandoning his gift for brutish hooks, but he has moved his band away from its reliance on Paleozoic power chords. This is entirely a production move. He writes the same kinds of songs, but he's swapped out canned digital distortion for burbling cauldrons of EDM, looping rhythms so it appears they overlap although he never hints at anything like a polyrhythm, ladling synthesizers into every empty crevice, carving out space for Flo Rida on Got Me Runnin&apos. No Fixed Address is the eighth studio album by Canadian rock band Nickelback released on November 14, 2014 via Republic Records, their first and only release on the label. Kroeger told The Pulse of Radio that the album title was inspired by the way it was recorded: We kind of did it all over the place. I mean, we were in Vancouver, we were in LA, we were in Maui, we had a portable rig with us on a European tour and we were recording stuff there. So I mean, thats why weve titled the album No Fixed Address. No Fixed Address Q&A. Band describes the album as their most diverse effort yet.
