New Found Glory is the eponymous second studio album and major-label debut by the American pop punk band of the same name. It was produced and mixed by Neal Avron and released on September 26, 2000 through Drive-Thru and MCA Records. Featuring their breakthrough single Hit or Miss, the album was later certified gold by the Recording Industry Association of America RIAA with shipments of 500,000 units. New Found Glory formerly A New Found Glory is an American rock band from Coral Springs, Florida, formed in 1997. The band currently consists of Jordan Pundik lead vocals, Ian Grushka bass guitar, Chad Gilbert lead guitar, backing vocals, and Cyrus Bolooki drums. Longtime rhythm guitarist and lyricist Steve Klein departed from the band in late 2013. During their lengthy recording career, the band have released ten studio albums, one live album, two EPs, and four cover albums. New Found Glory were never really about chart hits but they did manage to rack up a few, including their biggest hit, 2002's My Friends Over You. That, along with all their other charting Billboard singles - All Downhill from Here, Head on Collision, Hit or Miss - can be found on this 2013 budget-line compilation, as well as album tracks and fan favorites, so that's enough to make it a worthwhile sampler of their new millennial heyday, but it's not a definitive comp.
