Nena's third solo album Und alles dreht sich And Everything's Spinning is aptly titled since it marked a turning point in both Nena's career and in her personal life. Although Nena's third solo album basically made with a team of session musicians included collaborations with no less than three of her former bandmates from the '80s Jürgen Dehmel, Rolf Brendel, and, for the first time since 1986, Carlos Karges, there was no sense of band revival about the project, but rather of an attempt at deepening her own.
