Notes

Australian WRC 2nd pressing for their "Young World" division. Mono and stereo versions have an identical sleeve and the same number on the back (YC 1517) - the mono version has "YC-1517" on pink 'Young World' labels, while the stereo has "SYC-1517". Orchestra and chorus uncredited. There is a printed "stereo" rosette on the back, and the mono has a red sticker with "mono" placed over this (though these tend to drop off with age). The addresses on the rear of the sleeve have been updated. Issued again in June 1966 (probably with "299" for the Flinders Lane address, instead of the previous 330 or the short-lived 393).

Wild Is Love is a 1960 concept album by the American singer and pianist Nat King Cole, arranged by Nelson Riddle. The album chronicles a narrator's attempts to pick up various women before he finds love at the conclusion of the album. The album formed the basis for an unsuccessful musical, I'm With You, that starred Cole and was intended as a potential Broadway vehicle for him. A television special also called Wild Is Love resulted from the album, and was shown in Canada in late 1961. The television. Songs in album Nat King Cole - Wild Is Love 1960. Wild Is Love, is Nat King Cole's twenty-second studio album, released in 1960. This is one of the several albums that were arranged by Nelson Riddle. In addition to the Nelson Riddle arrangements, all of the songs featured in Wild Is Love were written by Ray Rasch and Dotty Wayne. The album was structured very similarly to that of Concept albums from artists such as Frank Sinatra, featuring an introduction and ending to the story of the album, as well as having the tracks of the album tell a slight story. The television special was not shown in the United States until 1964 due to the brief pre read more. In his extended sleeve note, Nat King Cole writes of his desire as an artist to find something else, by which he seems to mean something other than yet another album of rearranged pop standards, and he claims to have found it in the work of songwriters Ray Rasch and Dotty Wayne, who fashioned the song cycle contained on this LP.
