The album starts with a hypnotic lullaby, that goes with eerie fluttering guitar rhythms, that are played sort of like old fashioned blues rock. Then the music abruptly changes into dark death metal, as unexpectedly as a killer busting out of your closet. Album 2014 10 Songs. Sweven Morbus Chron. Chron was a Swedish death metal band from Stockholm, Sweden. It was named after a misspelling of the disease Morbus Crohn. The band was founded by Robert Andersson vocalsguitar, Edvin Aftonfalk guitar and Stefan Johansson drums, who were teenagers at that time. They were joined by Adam Lindmark bass. Johansson left the band and Lindmark switched to the drums. Dag Landin was added as new bassplayer. The band released one demo before publishing their debut EP Splendour of Disease in 2010. Here, with Sweven, we can see Morbus Chron ditching 100 of the black humor-based lyrical content from their debut, and instead going into a totally serious occult direction, which is complemented by a very original, unique sense element of psychadelic rock & a little bit of doom metal in some songs.
