Short intro
Monolithic Baby is the sixth studio album by Monster Magnet, released in 2004. It is a follow up to 2000's God Says No. It would also be the first album featuring bassist Jim Baglino. Bob Pantella was hired to fill the band's drum position after the album's recording the drums on the album were performed by Michael Wildwood. The album features three cover songs - There's No Way Out of Here by Ken Baker. The song was originally recorded by the band Unicorn released in 1976 on their album Too Many. Unbroken Hotel Baby офигенная тема. So it goes with Monolithic Baby, which marks a couple of superficial transitions for Monster Magnet - off a major and back to an indie new rhythm section Jim Baglino on bass and Bob Pantella on drums - but still upholds Wyndorf's highly entertaining mass of contradictions and vices. Put on your headphones, smoke some if you want, and float away. Like written on the back sleeve of the Spine of God album: It's a satanic drug thing, you wouldn't understand. Monolithic Baby Is the sixth full-length Monster Magnet studio album, it sees the New Jersey based stoner band stripping back their sound to the hard rock basics and introduces new members Jim Baglino on bass and Bob Pantella on drums for the first time. The album is absolutely spot-on in terms of quality, the songs are memorable, the production is good and there is an audible enthusiasm to the performance. Monster Magnet, like so many bands, may have a reputation stating that their early stuff is what you want to be listening to and the rest is take-it-or-leave-it, but I assure you that in t.
