Short intro
MOND-117. Michael Giacchino. Ratatouille Original Motion Picture Soundtrack 2xLP, Album, Bla. Mondo 3. Composer Michael Giacchino reunites with director Brad Bird on Ratatouille, whose lively and endlessly inventive soundtrack strikes a perfect balance between the old European drama of Ennio Morricone and the unhinged whimsy of Raymond Scott. Like an Old World version of Giacchino's jazz-infused, comic-book-kissed score for The Incredibles, Ratatouille is both elegant and mad, built around a sweet and playful theme called Le Festin, which is presented both instrumentally and vocally sung by the charming French star Camille and is as timeless as the dish for which the film is. In 2007, Giacchino and Bird reunited for another Pixar project, Ratatouille, which tells the story of Remy, a rat with dreams of becoming a great chef. Ratatouille is set in Paris and Giacchino looks to French music for inspiration. The soundtrack opens with its only vocal piece, Le Festin, which is sung by Camille Dalmais. The next track, Welcome to Gusteaus, starts off by quoting the French national anthem, La Marseillaise, before moving on to an accordion-led waltz. Ratatouille is the soundtrack album for the 2007 film of the same name. It was released through Walt Disney Records on February 1, 2012, and composed by Michael Giacchino. Brad Bird re-teamed with Giacchino on the score for Ratatouille since they got along well during the scoring of The Incredibles. Giacchino had written two themes for Remy, one about his thief self and the other about his hopes and dreams. He also wrote a buddy theme for both Remy and Linguini that plays when they're together. Ratatouille Original Motion Soundtrack. Released June 25, 2007. Ratatouille Original Motion Soundtrack Tracklist. This is the soundtrack to Brad Birds animated film about a French rat voiced by Patton Oswalt who dreams of being a great restaurant chef. Ratatouille Original Motion Soundtrack Q&A. Michael Giacchino's score does its job wonderfully and rating the score in that context, it would receive an 810. As an stand-alone listening experience, RATATOUILLE is great music if you plan a zany, little picnic in a secluded meadow. No doubt, it is an interesting listen and showcases the wisdom of Brad Bird and the diversity of Michael Giacchino. Still, RATATOUILLE's soundtrack is more like the dish it's named after, a peasant's dish, mixed, quaint and satisfying, than it is a 12-course, gourmet feast. весь отзыв. оставлен .
