Special Cases is a song by English trip hop collective Massive Attack, featuring vocals by Irish singer-songwriter Sinéad O'Connor. It appeared on Massive Attack's fourth full-length album, 100th Window, and was released as the first single on 24 February 2003. The single reached number 15 on the UK Singles Chart, number 19 in Greece, number 22 in Italy, and number 46 in Ireland. Special Cases is the group's only song to chart in Canada, where it reached number 25 on the Canadian Singles Chart. Special Cases first appeared on Massive Attack's album 100th Window released in February 2003. Vocals: Sinéad O'Connor. Written by Robert Del Naja, Neil Davidge and Sinéad O'Connor. It was released as the first single from the album in February 2003, reaching 15 in the UK Singles Chart. Massive Attack are a trip-hop group which formed in Bristol, England in 1988. The group currently consists of Robert 3D Del Naja and Grant Daddy G Marshall. Third member Andy Mushroom Vowles left the group in 1999.
