Of course it's a Dopplereffekt clone. On the other hand, you could also call it a hommage. But that's just words. Let's listen to the music - it is just great, isn't it? Would the record had come from Dopplereffekt itself, everybody would call it one of their best releases. So what's the problem? Why not listening to clones, if the clones are just so good? This is indeed a perfect record, even if it lacks, as everybody will admit, originality.

my (maybe harsh) opinion of this release is that it sounds very much like an uninspired dopplereffekt clone that brings no new ideas forward.

if you listen closely to these 4 trax, it is not even elektro . The guy who produced this ep is 15 years old and dj`s for Gigolo since he was 11 or 12 years old . This is his first release ! So wait what`s coming next .This one`s definitely one of the better Gigolo releases , it is working on the dancefloor, a good deejay mixes this trax at prime time and no one is complaining or leaving the dancefloor ;-)

I don't know if I'd consider this release as "copying" from other Gigolo artists. Although it does sound very much like other releases, it's still a solid record that stands well on its own.
