Short intro
Brain Police - 1968 HQ - Продолжительность. It was Madeline Bell's first solo album in two years after performing for musical theatre, television shows, studio backing sessions, film themes and pop group Blue Mink 196973. The project was also a major departure in musical direction for John Paul Jones, playing a mixture of funk, jazz, r&b and soul for the recording, during the year-long absence from touring Led Zeppelin undertook in late 1973 and throughout 1974. John Paul Jones had previously sessioned for Madeline Bell in 1968, before joining Led Zeppelin. Madeline is the debut album by Fort Collins band Tickle Me Pink, released on September 4, 2007, under the Wind-up Records label. It has been said that this album focuses on many major issues in today's world, including mortality, drug use, suicide, loss, brutal breakups to name but a few. Tickle Me Pink singer Sean Kennedy had said: It is somewhat ironic that many of our songs deal with death and a higher purpose. We want to let the world know how short life is embrace the ones you love and treasure. Madeline Bell born July 23, 1942 is an American soul singer, who became famous as a performer in the UK during the 1960s and 70s with pop group Blue Mink, having arrived from the US in the gospel show Black Nativity in 1962, with the vocal group Bradford Singers. Bell was born in Newark, New Jersey, United States. She worked as a session singer, most notably backing Dusty Springfield, and can be found on early Donna Summer material as well. Her first major solo hit was a cover version of Dee Dee. Madeline Bell's final '60s album was, like her first 1967's Bell's a Poppin', made in Britain under the production supervision of John Franz. And, like its predecessor, it unsurprisingly bore some resemblance to Dusty Springfield's late-'60s work, both because Franz also worked with Springfield, and because Bell sang backup vocals on Springfield records.
