Ignored by the major labels, the four musicians of L'Orchestre Sympathique ran a subscription campaign to sell tickets in order to raise money to book La Grande Passe a venue in Montreal for a few nights and record their first album. The first of three live records, En Concert à La Grande Passe remains the group's best opus.
