A Gilded Eternity is the third and final studio album by the rock band Loop. Released in 1990 on Situation Two, it was a commercial success, topping the UK Indie Charts as their previous album Fade Out had done and reaching 39 on the official UK album charts. The original LP release SITU 27 consisted of two 12 discs, played at 45rpm: The original CD release SITU 27 CD contained ten tracks: . British band which existed from 1985 to 1990. Focused on repetitive, noisy, psychedelic riffs. After they split up, band members went on to form Hair & 1990 10 Songs. Groups such as Sonic Youth and Dinosaur Jr. had turned up the noise quotient in the Amerindie underground, while My Bloody Valentine was deafening everyone on its side of the pond by the end of the '80s.
