Born Too Late is the third studio album by the American doom metal band Saint Vitus, which was released in 1986. This was the first Saint Vitus album featuring former The Obsessed singer Scott Wino Weinrich. It is generally cited as their greatest effort. All the songs from this album except The War Starter are featured on the compilation album Heavier Than Thou. Lookers first LP, Born Too Late, is both a lament for a bygone time in music and a raucous collision, loud with laughter in the dark. Recorded and mixed in only 8 days, their signature 3 part harmonies have a roomy, live feel reminiscent of the Shangri-Las even as the driving tempos and feral guitars betray a completely different history: old school punx of 77 like the Adverts and the Clash. Born out of the collaboration of childhood friends Boshra AlSaadi and Nicole Greco, Looker began playing Lower East Side clubs including Pianos, Mercury Lounge and later the Bowery Ballroom in 2003
