The Unquestionable Truth Part 1 is an EP by the American band Limp Bizkit. Released in 2005, it is the first release by the band to feature guitarist Wes Borland since he rejoined the group. He had left the band in 2001, and their previous album Results May Vary, was recorded without him. Released in 2005, this EP was Limp Bizkits big reunion, with Wes Borland returning for the first time since 2001. The plan was to release a sequel to this record, announced in 2012, but as of 2016 that hasnt eventuated. The only single released was The Truth, which featured a dark, performance based video that fit with the aesthetic of the record. The Unquestionable Truth Pt. 1 is an immense improvement on Limp Bizkits previous efforts. Wes Borlands guitar riffs are notably more prominent, Sam Rivers produces some intricate and incredibly catchy bass lines which stand out compared to his nu-metalloid peers who are usually completely inaudible, DJ Lethal has taken a step back and is no longer plaguing the music with mindless and repetitive scratching but is now only adding in effects and. scratches when completely necessary, John Otto is as always keeping the beats nice and simple but effective while front man Fred Durst has lowered. Fortunately, on The Unquestionable Truth Part 1, Limp Bizkit reach the optimal balance of improving their music and limiting Durst's involvement or at least the extent to which he irritates you to craft what i think is their best album.
