Short intro
Create Your Friends combines the Lemonheads' first two albums for Taang, Hate Your Friends and Creator, on one compact disc. While this material is fairly inconsistent, the hardcore numbers are enjoyable Hüsker Dü and Replacements ripoffs, and several of the songs illustrate Evan Dando's talent for simple pop hooks. 1992 CD Version includes the first 1986 ep plus the first album by Taang Records. Tracks: 1-Glad I Don't Know Dando 2-I Like to Dando 3-Rabbit Song Lyrics for The Lemonheads's Create Your Friends album. The Lemonheads - Create Your Friends Album Lyrics. Plaster Caster Lyrics. Their debut, Hate Your Friends is the sound of East coast, teenage punk rock co-existing with their pop influences if only for a few fleeting minutes. Most of the album is made up of fast, overdriven shouty and nihilistic exuberance. Lick on the other hand is where The Lemonheads find their stride and really deliver some great melodic hooks and evocative lyrics. The opening track, Mallo Cup is playful and well performed. They squeeze as much melody from its chords making it one of their best songs thus far. Listen online to The Lemonheads - Hate Your Friends and see which albums it appears on. The Lemonheads is an American alternative rock band formed in Boston, Massachusetts, in 1986 by Evan Dando, Ben Deily, and Jesse Peretz. Dando has remained the band's only constant member. After their initial punk-influenced releases and tours as an independentcollege rock band in the late 1980s, the Lemonheads' popularity with a mass audience grew in 1992 with the major label album It's a Shame about Ray, which was produced, engineered, and mixed by The Robb Brothers Bruce Robb, Dee, and Joe. Great little tune from the Lemonheads album 'Hate your friends'. It lasts about a minute or so, play with distorton on. Chords Used all barre chords . I think this is right, sounds O. to me anyway, if you havent got 'Hate your friends', you should have, its a good record. Most of the stuff at Nevada in the Lemonheads directory seems to be off their recent records, if anyone knows more stuff off of their older records post it at Nevada I will tab out 'Sad Girl' from 'Lick' when I get the chance.
