Short intro

Trans-Europe Express German: Trans Europa Express is the sixth studio album by German electronic music band Kraftwerk. Recorded in mid-1976 in Düsseldorf, Germany, the album was released in March 1977 on Kling Klang Records. It saw the group refine their melodic electronic style, with a focus on sequenced rhythms, minimalism, and occasionally manipulated vocals. Trans-Europe Express is the sixth studio album by Kraftwerk Seventh if Tone Float is counted, following Radio-Activity and preceding The Man-Machine. After the release and tour for the album Radio-Activity, Kraftwerk continued to move further away from their earlier Krautrock style of improvised instrumental music, refining their work more into the format of melodic electronic songs. During the tour for Radio-Activity the band began to make performance rules such as not to be drunk on stage or at. The themes of Trans-Europe Express were influenced by friends who suggested writing songs about the Trans Europe Express to reflect Kraftwerk's electronic music style. Critics have described the album as having two specific themes: celebration of Europe and the disparities between reality and image. Musically, the songs on this album differ from the group's earlier Krautrock style with a focus on electronic mechanized rhythms, minimalism, and occasional manipulated vocals. Although Autobahn was a left-field masterpiece, Trans-Europe Express is often cited as perhaps the archetypal and most accessible Kraftwerk album. Melodic themes are repeated often and occasionally interwoven over deliberate, chugging beats, sometimes with manipulated vocals the effect is mechanical yet hypnotic. Trans-Europe Express is the sixth studio album by electronic music pioneers Kraftwerk. It was released in March 1977 through their own record label Kling Klang Records. The album was built around the concept of the European railway service and delves into the idea of a train moving rapidly around a now digitally inclined continent, while exploring the appereancereality distinction. The sound Kraftwerk explored in Trans-Europe Express could be best described as electronic blues. The album was built using customized sequencers, minimalistic beats, mechanized rhythms and deadpan vocal takes wh. Songs in album Kraftwerk - Expreso Trans-Europa Trans-Europe Express 1990 1990. Looks like a mirror copy of 1993 US Capitol pressing on heavier vinyl.
Sounds marvellous.

The track titles should be in English. My copy has a slight warp which thankfully doesn't seem to affect play. Very little surface noise. As can be seen from the pictures, the centre labels and outer sleeve are (c) 1977 Capitol (p) 1993 CEMA as per the other Capitol S11-56853 reissues.
