The Man,Machine German: Die Mensch,Maschine is the seventh studio album by German electronic music band Kraftwerk, released in May 1978. Upon its release, the NME stated: The Man-Machine stands as one of the pinnacles of 70's rock music. Less than three minutes into The Man Machine, an album that faithfully extends Kraftwerks unmistakable brand of exquisite torture, this group has successfully drained the blood from the listeners body and pumped in the liquid Lysol. With its efficient modern-world toys - synthesizers, speech synthesizers, synthesized percussion - Kraftwerk strikingly creates a sound so antiseptic that germs would die there. Listening to The Man Machine is like listening to a telegraph: spare melodies, along with countermelodies, are repeated endlessly. As are the curiously trivial lyrics, usually delivered with the sternness of those voices you hear coming from Dictaphone units. The Man-Machine is closer to the sound and style that would define early new wave electro-pop - less minimalistic in its arrangements and more complex and danceable in its underlying rhythms. Like its predecessor, Trans-Europe. Plus, there's The Model, a character sketch that falls under the latter category but takes a more cynical view of the title character's glamorous lifestyle. More pop-oriented than any of their previous work, the sound of The Man-Machine - in particular among Kraftwerk's oeuvre - had a tremendous impact on the cold, robotic synth pop of artists like Gary Numan, as well as Britain's later new romantic movement. Die MenschMaschine by Kraftwerk Year: 1978 Overall rank: 390th. Average Rating: 83100 from 590 votes. The best album by Kraftwerk is Trans-Europa Express which is ranked number 285 in the list of all-time albums with a total rank score of 6,925. Kraftwerk album bestography. Kraftwerk's 7th album, while not considered their most innovative album that would be their 6th album: Trans Europe Express, it seems like it has inspired many albums since it released like, LCD SOUNDSYSTEM and C418. Like 'Neon Lights' sounds so much like 'Dog' from the Volume Alpha soundtrack. The Man-Machine maintains the extremely high level of Trans-Europe Express, but this time the band invested in a less atmospheric and more danceable sound, anticipating the synthpop that will dominate the music scene of the 80's. The German quartet was literally ahead of its time: The Model became a worldwide hit in 1982, four years after the album's release. Формируйте собственную коллекцию записей Man Machine 1978.
