The original 1985-release of the album had ten songs. On later CD-pressings three more were added: Que Sera, Sera, Cool Operator Black Cat Remix and Thunders' own remix of the opening track, Short Lives, which replaced the original mix as opener of the album. Que Sera Sera was first released as a single 7 & 12, backed with Thunders' remix of Short Lives. Tie Me Up was earlier released as B-side to the Johnny Thunders & Patti Palladin. Que Sera, Sera. Strange option to cover but Johnny always had his said, though, Que Sera, Sera is a surprisingly solid effort, featuring tight playing and well-constructed melodies. With a little record-company backing and a fortuitous fall of the chips, it could've marked a new chapter in Thunders' career. Sadly, it stands as one of the last coherent gasps by a perennial contender. Que Sera Sera. Rock 1985. But like Neil Youngs Doom Trilogy, the throw-in-the-towel ethos that went into the making of this 1985 album has slowly fermented over the years, leaving us with something that has aged interestingly well.
