The 12 Album is an album of 12-inch mixes by singer and musician Howard Jones, released in November 1984. It was released between the first two studio albums Human's Lib and Dream into Action and at the time was the only album to feature the single Like to Get to Know You Well, which had been a hit four months earlier. It was originally released only in Canada and Australia. Bassist Gary Link replaced Welton Gite on this album. It also marked a return to recording at American Recording Studios, last used to record For Ladies Only in 1971. Paradox Productions provided the main stage for Fantasyland festival in Ford City PA for the 3rd consecutive year. 6 tons of steel scaffold and truss went up over the course of the 2 day build to construct the massive castle shaped stage which measured 50' wide and 35' high. The embrasures on top of the castle towers were fabricated inhouse and custom vinyl banners were designed printed to give the castle a realistic look.
