Jenifa Mayanja has a new album in the pipeline for May, entitled Woman Walking in the Shadows. Born in Uganda and based in Connecticut, Mayanja has been an exceptionally busy deep house artist for years DJing, making records and running her own Bu-Mako label, which grew out of a party she used to throw in New York. Meanwhile, she's also a full-time mom of two kids, and wife to another American deep house artist, Jus-Ed, the man behind Underground Quality. Bumako Recordings presents the first single from Jenifa Mayanja's full length album 'Woman walking in the shadows'. The original album track is a full on vocal, with a strong universal message of empowerment and solidarity. The remixes create more layers with Jus-Ed weaving a moody bass and keys for a mystic dancefloor vibe and Kai Alce bringing the shadows out to a straight out stomp your feet on the floor.
