Previously unissued on CD, these are the 1967 tracks Taylor cut just prior to signing with Apple Records. The album features six of the original seven cuts plus the never-before-released Kootch's Song. It also features an instrumental version of Something's Wrong as well as revised versions of Night Owl and Knocking Around the Zoo. If you are a James Taylor geek then this is a must have. I own the album, but after 35 years it was time to get the CD. The sound quality is better than the album. Having said that, transferring it to CD didn't improve the actual content.
