Short intro

Seeing Things is singer-songwriter Jakob Dylan's first solo studio album. The album was released on June 10, 2008, by Columbia Records and was recorded at the Hollywood Hills home of producer Rick Rubin. Dylan performed songs from the album for a small group on May 8, 2008 at Nissan's Live Sets in Los Angeles, California. Videos of these performances are available for viewing at Jakob Dylan Yahoo Music. Jakob Dylan established himself as a legitimate singer, songwriter, and performer with his group the Wallflowers. But as early as his first LP with the touching acoustic Asleep at the Wheel, Dylan showed signs of being at his absolute best at his least encumbered. So, for his first solo album, 2008s Seeing Things, he hired Rick Rubin to produce and strip it all down, keeping Dylans voice front and center and letting the songs spill out at their own pace.
