A lot of electronic music tends to be bold and shimmering Iszoloscope's sound is more jagged and elusive. Iszoloscope first debuted in 2001 with his Coagulating Wreckage album. It was crunchy hard noise with little rhythm or direction. Next up was Aquifere in 2002 - this was quite a change from the first release. This album has an average beat per minute of BPM slowestfastest tempos:, BPM. Album starts at BPM, ends at BPM 0, with tempos within the -BPM range. Try refreshing the page if dots are missing. Since 1999, Iszoloscope has been pushing the abstract conceptualization of isolation and its induced altered states of consciousness into a powerful, ominous, immersive world of dark sonic aesthetic that can be called its very own. Seamlessly bending stylistic constraints by creating a fusion of industrial, electro-acoustic, ambient, rhythmic noise, psy-trance and break-core this artistic endeavor sets an exceptional standard in hybrid electronic music. I really like this CD. It shows perfectly the diffrent "faces" of water and how they sound. But not just some water-drones - the sound comes with warm or cold synths and many soft noise-distortions. Really great!

This album is a good mixture of rhythmic noise and ambience. Most of the tracks have running water in the background, to recreate the theme of this CD - being in an underground water tunnel. A pretty unique idea for a CD in my opinion. A lot of samples of people gasping for air are used in the backgrounds. Tracks 8 and 9, are by a completely different artist called Fivewaysfromsunday. You would be pretty much clueless to that fact though if the infomation wasn't listed in the A5 folder it comes with due to the fact that the music is done in exactly the same fashion. Ambient fans will find something to enjoy with this release.
