Whereas Grey Ghost was a record full of influences ranging from the Eagles to the Byrds to the Allmans and Lynyrd Skynrd tossed into a Southern-fried salad with Paul's own country, rock, and folk sensibilities, Feel the Heat feels like jarhead, clichéd Southern boogie rock. The 2nd album from the Henry Paul Band and it fully lives up to the classic ist album Grey Ghost,despite the title tracks rather clumsy drum intro and the fact that the initial vocal delivery,bizarrely, reminds me of Ozzy on 'War Pigs' it eventually comes good with some superb guitar work.
