Destroyer is also the name given to a series of EPs by Empire released two years before. Unlike his previous albums for Mille Plateaux, The Destroyer had a much heavier sound more akin to that of his band Atari Teenage Riot, and is considered as one of the earliest examples of a breakcore record. GRND 0 initially started as a side project to Hellfire BC by George Droulias Guitars, vox within the year 2003. By May 2004 James Apostolou Drums joined in to help in the recordings. After the sudden split up of Hellfire BC they decided to turn the project into a full scale band. By September of the same year they recorded Earthbound Consistency a promo CD which contained 8 tracks recorded in a house in the country.
