Grinding Halt is a down-tempo hardcore band formed in Groningen, the Netherlands commonly referred to as having ex-members of Shikari and The Last Mile. The bands current line up consists of Mark on Vocals, René on Guitar, Eelco on Bass and Henk on Drums. Beginning as a two piece in the early 2000's by René and Pascal while both were playing in Los Asesinos De La Superficialidad. The line up remained this way until 2003 when Mark, Hans and Jaap joined the band.
