Short intro

Gridlock - The Synthetic Form. Gridlock - Trace - Продолжительность: 1:08:27 Quantum Dream 52 868. Язык: Русский. Страна: США. Gridlock - Frantic Stark-Raving Mad 1:05:09. Listen free to Gridlock The Synthetic Form Frantic, Halo Rebirth and more. 18 tracks 62:21. Heavily distorted percussion, sometimes bordering on noise, imprints itself over atmospheric washes and ethereal vocals. Driving basslines keep the sound urgent, but this is not a danceable album. Like Mentallo & the Fixer, Gridlock uses verses and choruses only when finding them suitable, allowing each track to arrive at its own conclusion. At times, the darkness and the melodies' flowing nature are reminiscent of Coil - with teeth. The Synthetic Form will demand attention from listeners looking for a different approach to the industrial sound. Track Listing. The Synthetic Form is a music album by Gridlock released in 1997. The Synthetic Form is ranked 95,582nd in the overall chart, 16,538th in the 1990s, and 1,776th in the year 1997. The Synthetic Form by Gridlock Year: 1997 Overall rank: 95,582nd. Average Rating: 74100 from 2 votes. Synthetic Form. Gridlock Artist Format: Audio CD. This duo was small, and had just released its debut album, The Synthetic Form, on Pendragon Records. Other than an odd cover see for yourself, what distinguished this group from other electro acts. Not all that much, sadly. The Synthetic Form falls into the same trap that nearly all electro acts face: it's a Skinny Puppy clone. The off-kilter rhythms, booming beats, and even the distorted vocals echo the sound of the now-deceased, perpetually-malnourished hound. Gridlock's debut album. While its beginning to sound a but dated, its still a classic in my view. The normal tracks have washy beats with low, raspy vocals. Its pretty hard to make out what he's saying. but then again I guess it doesn't really matter with this music. There is 5 interlude tracks, which in my opinion really connect the other songs. short dark ambient tracks that do a good job of phasing the tracks together into the new sound. As a bonus you get 2 remixes but they are nothing special and don't sound that much different than the originals. This album is beco. Album starts at BPM, ends at BPM 0, with tempos within the -BPM range. Try refreshing the page if dots are missing. Here's the range of quality: 128 kbps good, 192 kbps great, 256 kbps awesome and 320 kbps perfect. Please vote. Add album to Cart. Sickness Demo 1995. Further 1999. Trace 2001. Frozen Demo 1996. I would just like to add to your accurate description, and in my view it is the vitality of this album. Firstly, gapless playback where all compositions are Literally connected and flow in sequence. Secondly, the album has an emotionally deep cinematic soundtrack quality because of a meshwork of fabulous thick pads, dark chords w/ strings and lovely arpeggio elements which bob in and out of the tracks. Those highly emotional vox you spoke about writhe and mix within the beautifully melancholic atmospheres Gridlock composed on TSF. At the time this was released there was nothing quite like the depth and rhythmic brutality of this piece of art within the genres it was associated. So many many times I put this on and just dreamed way away in its intense depth. I’m 40-somethibg now, and although Time has run its course there are some monuments which for me transcend times domain. This work is one of those. This timevof Pendragon Records mailorder was a boom for the genre. I recall so many excellent mainstays appeared or got a new life around this period. Lovely memories. Essential industrial album for your collection.
