Downsizing Nosedive. is at its best when the Gold Sparkle Band romps through accessibly fractured bebop and jazz, with its driving rhythm section Andrew Barker on drums and Chris Riggenbach on bass laying a steady foundation under Roger Ruzow's trumpet wails and Charles Waters' sax and clarinet work.
