Short intro

1000 hp, stylized as 1000HP, is the sixth studio album by the American rock band Godsmack. The album is a follow up to the band's 2010 gold-selling album The Oracle and was released on August 5, 2014. On November 6, 2013, it was reported that Godsmack had begun writing for the new album, yet to be titled 1000hp. On February 5, 2014 frontman Sully Erna tweeted that the band has made massive headway in the songwriting process for album. 1000hp - Godsmack. Лента с персональными рекомендациями и музыкальными новинками, радио, подборки на любой вкус, удобное управление своей коллекцией. Sully Erna, Shannon Larkin, Robbie Merrill, Tony in all, Godsmack's '1000hp' succeeds in bringing the hard in heavy doses with just the perfect smattering of melody in just the right places. There's little doubt that with '1000hp' Godsmack have re-establishing their place in the world of hard rock. 1000hp. When Sully Erna opens up 1000hp, the titular track of Godsmack's sixth studio album, with a line like Time to rewind back to 1995 when we were nothing, it's clear that the hard rock giants are serious about recapturing the fire they had in their early days. And while The Oracle was a refreshing return to form for the band, whose sound had softened considerably since their self-titled 1998 debut. Nailing their flag to the masthead with fiery riffs and a seemingly unstoppable drive, the album proves that the revival of their pr. jayson marquez. Godsmack 1000hp - Full Album. For an album entitled 1000 Horse-Power, its full of faults and stalls and never really gets to fifth gear. This is predominantly because of vocalist Sully Ernas unbearably clichéd lyrics. The sheer title of Something Different alone is contradictory to the song itself, it sounds nothing different to anything theyve released in their career and Sullys vocals barely vary. But wait, because its an attempt at a ballad theres some violins. Perhaps this is true only on previous albums because on 1000hp there are no annoyingly catchy bits. The closest would be FML but its entirely forgettable. I Dont Belong is also just as uninspired. 1000hp bursts out of the gate with the Boston groups signature stomp and a newfound thrashed-up punk energy. Its a rowdy, rousing, and rough anthem that tells the story of the bands journey from playing tiny clubs to packed arenas worldwide. The single actually recounts our days in the empty bars working our way up to those big stages were so blessed to be on

I bought this brand new at the record store in early 2018 for like $30....rather shocked to see its value so high. I researched and it’s already out of print, so must not have had many copies made?
Whatever the case, this album sounds pretty darn good!

This is an excellent press. Dynamic and brilliant soundstage. Punchy and vibrant. Highs are a little tweaked, but overall excellent work.
