Blind Faith is the self-titled and only album by the English supergroup Blind Faith, originally released in 1969 on Polydor Records in the United Kingdom and Europe and on Atlantic Records in the United States. It topped the album charts in the UK, Canada and US, and was listed at No. 40 on the US Soul Albums chart. It has been certified platinum by the RIAA. Friends of Betty was Tim Rutili, Glynis Johnson, and John Rowan. Tim and Glynis would morph into Red Red Meat with Glen Girard and Ben Massarella. Sorry, something went wrong. Ben Massarella was the band's original drummer, but he was later replaced by John Rowan. The group recorded their only LP, Blind Faith II for Underdog Records in 1988. Barely two months after the album's release, Blind Faith called it quits. Clapton became frustrated with their live performances exacerbated somewhat by the new group's lack of material and the fact that they had to fill their sets with old Cream and Traffic numbers, eventually lost interest and joined Delaney & Bonnie and Friends as their guitarist. Baker formed Ginger Baker's Air Force, with Winwood and Grech tagging along. Not long after, Traffic reunited, with Grech on board as their new bass player, the ashes of Blind Faith in the distance.
