R&B Albums chart, as it spent 26 weeks at the top of that chart. This longevity gave the album the highest charting position on the Billboard Year-End chart as an R&B Album in 1987. Freddie Jackson born Frederick Anthony Jackson, 2 October 1956, in Harlem, New York is an American soul singer. He was an important figure in R&B during the 1980s and early 1990s.
