In Your Honor is the fifth studio album by American rock band Foo Fighters, released as a double album on June 14, 2005 by Roswell and RCA Records. It consists of one disc containing heavy rock songs and a second disc with mellower acoustic songs. Frontman Dave Grohl decided to do a diverse blend of songs, as he felt that after ten years of existence, the band had to break new ground with their music. The album was recorded at a newly built studio in Northridge, Los Angeles, and features guests such. In Your Honor is the fifth studio album by Foo Fighters, released on June 14, 2005 on BMG. It is the band's second-best-selling album in the United States behind 1997's The Colour and The Shape. It consists of two discs. All of the tracks on the second disc are acoustic. Much of the album's theme and content came after Dave Grohl spent time on the campaign trail with John Kerry during the 2004 presidential election.
