This album recalls a time when Christmas was elegant and had class, something that it lacks in these days. I buy a new Christmas cd or mp3 download in this case every year. This was a nice selection of Christmas classics, sung beautifully by Ella. It is not a jazz cd, so I think the reviewers expecting a jazz take on these classics would be disappointed.
