None of the members of Eight Days Gone were actually born in Pennsylvania. Neill Steinke named after Neil Diamond, believe it or not was born in Seattle, John Zadeh in New Mexico, bassist Gary Bonneau in Brooklyn, and lead guitarist Steve Miceli in Delaware. Meeting each other in high school, Steinke and Zadeh quickly began collaborating together.
