Auf einem entlegenen, fast immer der Sonne abgewandten Trabanten ohne nennenswerten Nutzwert hat man einen verfallenden Außenposten vergessen, dessen Mannschaft ihre eigentliche Mission und geregelte Abläufe schon seit Jahren für eine einzige durchgehende Aufnahme aufgegeben hat, welche auf primitiven Instrumenten wie Schlagzeug, analogen Synthies und Plattenspielern ausgeübt wird, die ihnen einst zum Zeitvertreib mit auf den Weg gegeben wurden. Was einst als autodidaktisch-windschiefe Version von Funk aus dem Gedächtnis begann, hat sich über die Jahre zu einem ausuferndem Wust von tonalen Spurenelementen verkompliziert, der sich in unregelmäßigen Abständen gen Wochenende in eine Erinnerung von Schale schmeißt. Stachy hat den letzten regulären Funkspruch von der Bodenstation gesandt, bevor der Empfang für immer verstummte. Der kam mit einiger Zeitverschiebung als tiefenatmosphärische Impression auf 4/4-Takt aus dem Äther und hängt seitdem als Trophäe an der Wand.

Dual is an album by four acclaimed Irish and Scottish musicians: Éamonn Doorley, Muireann Nic Amhlaoibh both prominently of Danú, Julie Fowlis and Ross Martin. Its title means to braid, to twine, inheritance or native in both Irish Gaelic and Scottish Gaelic. The artists released the album in October 2008 on their official websites.
