Short intro

The Marian Conspiracy was the sixth story in Big Finish's monthly range. It was written by Jacqueline Rayner, featured Colin Baker as the Sixth Doctor and introduced Maggie Stables as the new companion Evelyn Smythe. Evelyn was the first companion original to audio to be created by Big Finish. Tracking a nexus point in time, the Doctor meets Dr Evelyn Smythe, a history lecturer whose own history seems to be rapidly vanishing. The Marian Conspiracy is a Big Finish Productions audio drama based on the long-running British science fiction television series Doctor Who. The Sixth Doctor meets Evelyn Smythe and attempts to find out why she is disappearing by travelling back in time to the era of Queen Mary.
