Short intro

The song was first performed on their 1974 French tour, and recorded for their 1975 concept album Wish You Were. Remember when you were young, you shone like the sun. Shine on you crazy diamond. Now there's a look in the album Wish You Were Here, this is split into two parts, with Have A Cigar, Welcome To The Machine, and Wish You Were Here in between. It was going to be continuous, but Waters decided it should be split. This was very difficult to record. I am sure that no one else had noticed that 'Shine on You crazy Diamond' was meant for SYD. Shine on' definitely is not a reference to you- because you must not be very bright. This is a good song, but it does have a long introduction. Nick's drumming is so underrated but it gives quite a good sound to the song. David's guitar is great as usual. It's not their best song, but is problably their greatest work together. Shine On You Crazy Diamond is a nine-part Pink Floyd composition written by David Gilmour, Roger Waters, and Richard Wright. It appeared on Pink Floyd's 1975 concept album Wish You Were Here. The song was conceived and written as a tribute and remembrance to their former band member Syd Barrett, a founding member of Pink Floyd. Barrett was ousted from the band by the other members in 1968 due to his drug use and partly-related troubled mental health, which had affected his ability to integrate. Crazy Diamond is a 1993 triple-CD boxed set of Syd Barrett's two 1970 albums The Madcap Laughs and Barrett, and Opel, an out-takes compilation from 1988. All discs are further augmented by various alternate takes. Our main plan was to find Syd's acoustic takes, before the other musicians were drafted in to overdub them. But we stumbled across some fascinating material that sheds new light on Syd's working methods. Phil Smee. Their debut album, Crazy for You is loaded with music that youll be walking around humming to yourself after only a play or two and songs youll be singing along to before theyre half over songs that just plain sound good in a familiar and comforting way. Unlike many of their contemporaries, Best Coast dont add noise to push away the listener or hide the poppiness of the songs the distortion and reverb they use are warm and inviting, especially when combined with Cosentinos vocal harmonies. Crazy for You is a song by American singer Madonna, written by John Bettis and Jon Lind, from the soundtrack album to the film Vision Quest 1985. It was released on March 2, 1985 by Geffen Records as the first single from the soundtrack. Crazy for You ushered a new musical direction for Madonna, as she had not previously released a ballad as a single. The track features instrumentation from snare drums, harp, bass synthesizer and electric guitar. Lyrically, the song speaks of sexual desire between two lovers and consists of innuendos. This is great- Josuke Higashikata. Crazy Diamond commonly abbreviated to CD is a Stand in Project JoJo. Crazy Diamond is humanoid, with a powerful build and tall stature. It is clad in tall headgear, part of a mask and Armour-like plates on many large surfaces of its body, similar to the Armour seen on The World. Crazy Diamond's sub-ability turns all projectiles into homing projectiles. Crazy Diamond ranks in Rarity Tier List. Crazy Diamond ranks in Combat Tier List. Oh You Crazy Moon subtitled The Legacy: Vol. 4 is a live album by trumpeter Chet Baker which was recorded in 1978 but not released on the German Enja label until 2003. Baker's accompanists provide most of the truly transcendent musical moments. Overall, this is an album his established fans will enjoy, but those looking for a good entry into his voluminous catalog will do best to start with the 1950s.
