It's an easy album to get before one even quite understands what is happening. In that sense, this album is a major success in that it transcends any preconceived, arbitrary notion of genre and the associated intent. The influences are all over the place with this release, but what remains constant over every track is an attention to creating a cohesive, multifaceted, central image.
