Short intro

Back in Denim is the debut album by British rock band Denim. British rock band Felt broke-up in 1989, while frontman Lawrence had been living in Brighton. Finding Brighton to be unpleasant, he moved to New York in early 1990. Lawrence soon started to reminisce about his childhood in the 1970s. He proceeded to visit a pawn shop and buy a guitar, which he would use to compose Back in Denim. He eventually grew homesick and soon moved to London. Lawrence formed Denim with a variety of session men and. Album 1991 10 Songs. More By Denim. Back In Denim. You May Also Like. Instant Wig Wam and Igloo Mixture. Go Kart Mozart. Moving away from the gorgeously skewed guitar pop of Felt, Lawrence released this debut album under the Denim moniker in 1992. Sweet and crunchy rhythm guitars and goofy synthesizers were the new order of the day, as was a stream of lyrical vitriol. Back In In Denim is ranked 19,922nd in the overall chart, 3,594th in the 1990s, and 337th in the year 1992. DENIM - Back In Denim. Noise Records.
