For the first time ever, Def Leppard played HYSTERIA in its entirety during an eleven-show residency which started on March 22, 2013 at The Joint in the Hard Rock Hotel And Casino in Las Vegas. The band played also under the fictitious name of DED FLATBIRD which came about second official live album release by the band recorded during two nights of the MarchApril 2013 VIVA Hysteria residency in Las Vegas, NV. The band performed the entire 'Hysteria' album for the 11 show run for the very first time. They also opened for themselves as 'Ded Flatbird' playing many rarely played or obscure songs. The audio and performance footage were filmed over two nights shows 45 on 29th30th March and capture the amazing show in full HD quality. Captured in stunning HD during the eleven-show run at The Joint in the Hard Rock Hotel And Casino in Las Vegas, NV in MarchApril 2013. Viva Hysteria is a double live album by the English rock band Def Leppard released on 22 October 2013. The album was recorded on 29 and 30 March 2013 during the band's residency of the same name at the Hard Rock Hotel and Casino Las Vegas. The first disc contains Def Leppard's 1987 album Hysteria, played in its entirety, followed by an encore of two hits from Pyromania, Rock of Ages and Photograph. The second disc has a selection of deeper cuts, many of which the band had not played in several. Def Leppard dove into the classic-albums-in-their-entirety trend via an 11-date residency at the Hard Rock in Las Vegas, performing 1987's Hysteria from start to finish, adding other classic hits to round out the set. More interestingly, taking a tip from Joe Elliott's Mott the Hoople tribute side project the Down 'n' Outz, Def Leppard opened for themselves, performing as Ded Flatbird and running through rarities and early hits that they have rarely played live in the years since becoming superstars.
